A production team under the direction of Pedro Toro did what should have been done some time ago already. They replaced some of the couples that had appeared in the opening sequence to the GrandSlam Series television (and Vimeo) programmes since 2014 with the most current champions and dominators.
If you will recall, the sequence in use through last December featured dancers who had long turned professional, others who had moved on to new challenges in a different world of dance, and still others appeared in partnerships that are part of history by now.
So for a short while we are completely caught up - at least until the career planning by some currently included in the 24-second sequence will make version 2.0 obsolete as well.
