It is such a pleasure to have a chance to talk with the athletes and to get to know them a little better. Some of them we have seen so many times on the floor, that we have created an image in our heads about how they might be in "real life". It happens with all celebrities, too. We think we know them, but we really don't.
And, as expected, sometimes during the interviews, we have found out how the image has turned out to be so wrong. And sometimes so right. And usually something both!
What all these wonderful athletes have had in common is their positivity and pure passion towards this sport. Today, all this was heard from the athletes themselves as Winson Tam - Anastasia Novikova (CAN) and Andrey Gusev - Vera Bondareva (RUS) had some spare time for us before their competitions.
It is a shame that we have so little time, but of course, we wouldn't want to interfere their warm-up time or preparing for the competitions. It is also a shame, that we can't do these interviews with all couples. But we are more than happy to do these few every time, so that we can share the videos later and let you all know them a little better, too! One by one!
