The starting list for the quarterfinal of the GrandSlam Latin Moscow has been published together with the standing for the places 25 trough 296. Dancing in this fifth round will be 15 couples representing the host country and eight from the “rest of the world.”
The term is limited to six European countries and – unfortunately – Moldova is not one of them. But since we resolved not to comment on absences this time, we just say: “Too bad!” It would have been great for everybody – dancers included – to see the entire international elite fighting it out in Moscow as they did in Stuttgart, GER, this August.
What makes some of us even sadder is that one couple that still needed a fourth result to validate its qualification for the 2015 GrandSlam Final does not dance tonight and – as a consequence – cannot be in the “Showdown in Shanghai” either.
But don't worry: there is plenty of talent that will assemble on the floor for the quarterfinal at 18:30 Moscow time.
