Here are two urgent communications from WDSF Sports Director Marco Sietas:
The 2016 WDSF World DanceSport Championship Junior II Ten Dance scheduled to be held on 10 September in Sofia, BUL, has been cancelled. Mr Svetozar Zhekov, Vice-President of the Bulgarian DanceSport Federation (BDSF), informed WDSF that the championship had to be cancelled "due to financial and organisational reasons." Mr Zhekov expressed great regret on behalf of the BDSF in his message.
Sports Director Marco Sietas advised the BDSF that due to the late cancellation claims by National Member Bodies may well be made against the organiser to recover their expenditure for airfares that cannot get refunded.
The second communications concerns the official draw of the countries that will have adjudicators officiating at WDSF Championships and Cups during 2017. Mr Sietas invites everybody interested to attend this public draw that takes place at the GOC (DTV Meeting Point, next to the SWAROVSKI stand at the Beethoven Hall) on Wednesday 10 August from 10 a.m. CEST.
