Half of the 274 couples that had to dance the first round of the 2015 GrandSlam Latin Stuttgart were called to the floor of the Beethoven Hall at 10 a.m. They performed their five dances in 11 heats and over a period of slightly more than two hours. Then the other half joined the floor and completed their dances in 11 heats by 2 p.m.
41 "star" couples were exempt from having to dance in round one. Thus, the total number of entries for the GrandSlam Latin stands at 315. Slightly less than last year, but we know the reason for that: fewer Russian couples!
We expect the results after round one and the starting list for round two to be published shortly. We have uploaded many videos and photos already.
