Casa Musica, the leading publishers of dance music, and the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) have recently concluded a partnership agreement that aims to ensure that only the very best tracks are played at the top-tier WDSF events.
Casa Musica has been the supplier of music that was played during the televised stages - generally in semi-finals and finals - of World and European Championships as well as GrandSlams for a number of years already. Under the terms of the new agreement, Casa Musica will provide tracks for the earlier rounds as well. In fact, all the music that the approximately 600 couples dance to during the first five rounds of both GrandSlams here in Stuttgart is from the WDSF Music Partner's extensive library.
WDSF will make information on Casa Musica tracks played at its events available in music cue sheets and - where it's applicable - in the descriptions to the videos it publishes on YouTube and on Vimeo on Demand. WDSF will also add an "audio gallery" section to its website. Information on new releases by Casa Musica will become available there.
