What is behind the big black curtain that separates the action on the dance floor from a section that's kept out of view is a world onto itself. That is where the WDSF Communications team and the crew of host broadcaster YLE feel at home.
A group of upwards from 30 people work in these darker surroundings with one mission: to make those who are in the spotlight tonight look at their best. At this point they prepare for the decisive stages of the GrandSlam Standard to be recorded with nine (!) cameras. These recordings are then post-produced into YLE's own programme and the international highlights distributed by WDSF. One these highlights will be the 90-minute programme that WDSF makes available through Vimeo on Demand.
