The WDSF Communications team caught up with Ashli Williamson, DEN, the Chair of the WDSF Athletes' Commission, to discuss the deterrent to what ended up being a superb final in the 2016 PD European Standard: the fact that certain couples did not enter the Championship.
It is encouraging to observe that the athletes have their own opinion when it comes to the undesirable "politicking" that affects determined aspects of DanceSport these days.
WDSF can take pride in having Athletes' Commission members who speak their mind - no matter what. And everyone listing to Ashli should take the time to reflect upon where this will lead to, if no remedy can be found!
