We have uploaded photographs which were taken yesterday during the three-hour training session at the Centennial Hall. It is a stunning place at any time, but probably even more so when visited as a smallish group of some 100 people and with the lights dimmed.
After the organisers had converted the venue layout from Gymnastics to DanceSport in 20 hours of non-stop work, some of the dancers chose to try out the floor between 18:00 and 21:00. By far not all couples entered in the four events did put in a public appearance yesterday. Take Benedetto Ferruggia and Claudia Koehler, GER, who are about to dance in their third World Games and that as defending Champions. They arrived in Wroclaw so late in the afternoon that training was no longer an option.
