Who's Dancing for ... ISR

Shimriel Davidov - Olga Chupilov, ISR Israel is represented by five dancers here in Cali, COL. Two we just met over breakfast: Shimriel Davidov and Olga Chupilov sat on the terrace of the Spiwak Chipichape Cali hotel and enjoyed the buffet.

They are four-time Israeli Champions in Latin and made quite a few semi-finals in World Opens this year. Actually, in some they came very close to making the finals too.

The Standard couple is made up of Francesco Paris and Natalia Driker. The two are dancing in the Professional Division and have achieved an excellent fifth place in the recent PD European Cup in Wuppertal, GER. At the PD World Championship Standard in Bassano del Grappa, ITA, they claimed an excellent tenth place.

According the the Accreditation Systen, a fifth Israeli dancer is also present in Cali: Olga Tchoupilov. Maybe she pairs up with Shimriel or Francesco for the Salsa competition ... We'll find out!
